VP of Marketing 12-Month Fixed Term Contract Madrid or Barcelona (hybrid) Salary: €100,000 Start date: Immediate, this role will suit someone who is immediately available We are working with a European B2B SaaS scale-up entering a critical phase of growth and transformation. The business operates across multiple products, brands, ICPs and geographies, and marketing sits at the centre of its commercial ambitions. This 12-month FTC role is designed for a senior marketing leader who can step in quickly, take ownership, and deliver impact in a complex, fast-moving environment. The opportunity Reporting into the commercial leadership team, you will own marketing end-to-end across demand generation, product marketing, brand and commercial alignment, with a clear remit to strengthen capability, improve execution, and drive measurable growth across Europe. You will operate at both strategic and hands-on level, working closely with Sales, Customer Success and the executive team. What you will be responsible for Commercial ownership • Own marketing’s contribution to pipeline and revenue across European markets, • Translate ambitious growth targets into clear marketing priorities, plans and KPIs, • Act as a strong commercial partner to Sales and Customer Success Demand generation and growth • Lead multi-channel demand generation across digital, events, content, ABM and partnerships, • Drive focus and prioritisation under constraint, deciding what not to do as much as what to do, • Build and optimise scalable acquisition and nurture engines Product marketing and positioning • Clarify and strengthen value propositions across products, ICPs and markets, • Create compelling, differentiated messaging that translates into demand, website, and sales enablement, • Bring cohesion and confidence to how the business tells its story Team leadership and capability build • Lead a distributed European marketing team through a period of change, • Establish clear playbooks and centres of excellence across key marketing disciplines, • Coach, uplift and reset standards, pace and accountability Infrastructure and execution • Oversee delivery of key marketing projects including automation and website evolution, • Embed data-driven decision making and performance visibility, • Improve marketing’s reputation and effectiveness across the wider business What success looks like after 12 months • Marketing delivering a clear, material contribution to revenue and pipeline, • A confident team operating with clarity, structure and proven playbooks, • Stronger trust and alignment between marketing, sales and customer success, • Clear positioning and execution across markets, products and ICPs Essential background (non-negotiable) • Senior leadership experience in B2B SaaS, • (This is not suitable for B2C, consumer brand-only backgrounds), • Operated in scale-up environments, typically Series A–B, where marketing is a core revenue driver rather than a support function, • Worked in businesses of sufficient complexity and scale, typically €30–60m+ revenue, with:, • Multi-product portfolios, • Multiple ICPs, • Multiple European markets, • Held real pipeline and revenue accountability, with marketing expected to materially contribute to growth, • Worked closely and credibly with Sales, including alignment on pipeline, targets, cadence and execution, • Strong analytical capability, comfortable operating in a numbers-led, commercially rigorous environment This role will suit someone who enjoys complexity, transformation and delivery, and who takes pride in leaving a function stronger than they found it.
