About us We are Belender, a fintech company enabling financial institutions to access public administration data in real time. We connect to multiple public entities (tax authorities, social security, etc.) and transform official data into structured formats (JSON) that banks can directly integrate into their decision-making processes. Our mission is to simplify and automate access to reliable data, reducing friction in financial processes. What we’re looking for We are looking for a Python engineer to join our scraping team and help build and maintain integrations with public administration systems. This is a highly technical role focused on: • automation, • advanced scraping, • Strong experience with Python, • Experience working with AWS infrastructure:, • Lambda, • EKS (Kubernetes), • Experience in:, • Web scraping, • Browser automation (Selenium, Playwright or similar), • Must be based in Portugal, • At least 2 years of prior work experience in Portugal, • Ability to communicate in:, • Experience in web reverse engineering, • Understanding of HTTP flows (cookies, sessions, headers), • Experience with complex or unstable external systems, • 100% remote work, • Part-time (20h/week), • Fully flexible working hours, • Freelance / contractor model, • Compensation: €21,000 – €30,000/year (pro-rated for part-time), • Work on real, complex engineering challenges, • Small, highly technical team, • High ownership from day one, • Challenging engineering problems (not repetitive work), • Fast-growing environment, • Strong experience with Python, • Experience working with AWS infrastructure:, • Lambda, • EKS (Kubernetes), • Experience in:, • Web scraping, • Browser automation (Selenium, Playwright or similar), • Must be based in Portugal, • At least 2 years of prior work experience in Portugal, • Ability to communicate in:, • Experience in API reverse engineering, • Understanding of HTTP flows (cookies, sessions, headers), • Experience with complex or unstable external systems, • 100% remote work, • Part-time (20h/week), • Fully flexible working hours, • Freelance / contractor model, • Compensation: €21,000 up to €30,000/year, • Work on real, complex engineering challenges, • Small, highly technical team, • High ownership from day one, • Challenging engineering problems (not repetitive work)
