ppDescripción del trabajo /p h3JOB DESCRIPTION /h3 pA temporary position is being announced with the purpose of carrying out research tasks for the Innate Immunity Unit to be carried out in the framework of the project “Unraveling the role of CD5L in modulating tumor associated macrophage responses: a novel opportunity for immunotherapy”. We look for a highly motivated candidate who wishes to advance his/her scientific career in a friendly and stimulating environment within the field of translational cancer immunology research. /p h3MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liConduct in vitro functional and phenotypic analysis of macrophages and immune cells in the context of cancer using primary cells and cell lines. /li liInvestigate biomarker expression in human samples employing techniques such as immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, or RT-PCR-Sequencing. /li liAnalyse complex datasets using bioinformatic tools. /li liMaintain a comprehensive understanding of the research field through literaturebr/review. /li liAnalyze and interpret experimental data, contributing to manuscript preparation. /li liActively participate in laboratory meetings, IGTP seminars, and national orbr/international conferences. /li /ul h3QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCIE /h3 pbRequired: /b /p ul liAt the time of recruitment, candidates must hold a Masters degree in biological or biomedical science. /li liExperience abroad. /li liApplicants must demonstrate an advanced level of English language (spoken and written). /li liPrevious experience with data analysis and R programming, cell culture, real-time PCR, microscopy, and image analysis. /li /ul pbValued: /b /p ul liBackground knowledge in immunology, cancer and/or cancer immunology /li liHands-on research experience in national/international laboratories /li liProven ability to communicate complex scientific information clearly and concisely, and to work collaboratively within a research team. /li liStrong ability to manage responsibilities and meet deadlines. /li liOrganizational, proactive and self-motivated attitude. /li /ul h3WHAT WE OFFER /h3 ul liTemporary contract /li liDate of incorporation: 01/09/2026 /li liGross annual remuneration inherent to the square objected to this call, will be fixed based on the experience provided and the skills of the candidate, distributed in 12 payments. /li liFlexible payment (childminding vouchers). /li li23 days holiday and 5 days for personal matters. /li liTraining capsules by the company. /li liBe part of an excellent multidisciplinary research centre with the HRS4R badge. /li liLocation on the Can Ruti Campus, a first-class translational research environment in the Barcelona area, in a very stimulating scientific environment. /li liThe IGTP offers a supportive, friendly and collaborative ecosystem to promote professional development and help you achieve your research goals. /li /ul h3FOR MORE INFORMATION /h3 h3DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS /h3 pThe call for applications will close on bJuly 31st, 2026. /b /p h3About us /h3 pThe Germans Trias i Pujol Research Institute (IGTP) is a public research centre located in Badalona.
