Tomar pedidos de comida y bebida de los clientes de manera precisa y eficiente. 2. Aprendizaje del manual del restaurante así como fichas técnicas de bebida y comida. 3. Servir comida y bebida de manera oportuna y profesional. 4. Mantener el área del comedor limpia y organizada. 5. Procesar pagos y manejar transacciones en efectivo. 6. Brindar un buen servicio al cliente y estar atento al servicio. 7. Trabajar en equipo con otros miembros del personal para garantizar una experiencia gastronómica positiva para todos los clientes. 8. Conocer el producto con el que se trabaja para así poder explicar cada concepto o el funcionamiento propio del local. 9. Revisión de zonas de trabajo y reposición para facilitar el servicio. Requisitos 1. Experiencia previa como camarero/a en un restaurante o entorno de servicio al cliente similar. 2. Experiencia previa en puesto de café. 3. Habilidades de comunicación y capacidad para interactuar con los clientes de manera positiva y profesional. 4. Capacidad para trabajar como parte de un equipo. 5. Job Overview: The Café Manager/Barista will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the café while also working as an expert barista. This role requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about coffee, customer service, and team management. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth daily operations, maintaining high standards of quality, and creating a positive and fun environment for both customers and staff. Responsibilities: Café Management 1. Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and maintaining a high standard of service. 2. Lead and manage a small team of baristas, kitchen staff, and front-of-house personnel. 3. Handle scheduling, shift planning, and staffing to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours. 4. Manage inventory and ordering, ensuring stock levels of coffee, food, and supplies are maintained. 5. Oversee cash handling, daily financials, and end-of-day reports. 6. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations. 7. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. Barista Duties 1. Prepare and serve high-quality espresso drinks, including specialty coffees, teas, and other beverages. 2. Demonstrate an understanding of coffee beans, brewing methods, and equipment. 3. Ensure consistency and quality in every cup, maintaining our café's reputation for excellence. 4. Engage with customers in a friendly, welcoming manner and create a warm, vibrant café atmosphere. 5. Train and mentor new baristas on coffee-making techniques and customer service best practices. Key Qualifications: Experience - At least 2+ years of experience in a managerial role within a café or hospitality setting, with strong barista skills (latte art). Coffee Expertise - Proven experience as a barista with knowledge of specialty coffee, equipment maintenance, and coffee brewing techniques. Leadership Skills - Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Organizational Skills - Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and time-management skills. Customer Service - A passion for providing excellent customer service and creating an inviting café experience. Language - Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
