Consumer Growth is one of Kleinanzeigen’s core business areas. It owns the full user lifecycle from first acquisition through to long-term retention and is directly accountable for Monthly Active Users, one of our most important company metrics. The MarTech team sits inside Consumer Growth and provides the data and activation capabilities that power personalisation, lifecycle communications and audience targeting across every team that touches our users. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own and drive the strategy for our Marketing Technology stack. You will be the single product owner of our MarTech capability, our Customer Data Platform (Zeotap), our marketing automation tool (Braze) and the integrations that connect them. You will make these capabilities reliable, scalable levers that Marketing, Advertising, CRM, and Analytics can act on quickly. You will report into the Head of Product for Consumer Growth and be a senior voice in how MarTech fuels acquisition, retention, and monetisation at Kleinanzeigen. What You’ll Do • Define, own, and communicate the MarTech product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap, aligned with Consumer Growth, Marketing, Advertising, and Analytics priorities., • Own our Customer Data Platform (Zeotap) end-to-end: data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and audience orchestration and activation., • Turn the CDP into a growth engine across Kleinanzeigen: maintain a centralised view of use cases, proactively evaluate new Zeotap features, and set standards for data quality, taxonomy, and audience definitions., • Lead the evaluation, integration, and optimisation of our marketing automation and CRM stack (email, push, in-app), and translate audience logic into reusable, production-grade workflows., • Co-Lead a cross-functional squad of Data, Backend, Frontend, and Mobile engineers with your Engineering Manager, turn roadmap priorities into clearly defined sprint outcomes., • Own the centralised backlog of MarTech tickets, bugs, and requests; drive agile ceremonies and maintain high-quality ticket definitions (clear requirements, acceptance criteria, business context)., • Partner deeply with Digital Marketing (CRM, Onsite, Performance) and Marketing Analytics to translate their needs into actionable product requirements., • Partner with Legal and Privacy to ensure all MarTech activity is compliant with GDPR, ePrivacy, and internal policies. What You Bring • 5+ years of Product Management experience, with a significant share spent on MarTech, Customer Data Platforms, or closely related data-and-activation domains inside a digital, eCommerce, or marketplace environment., • A track record of shipping and scaling CDP and/or marketing automation capabilities end-to-end from data ingestion and identity resolution through segmentation and activation with measurable business impact., • Deep familiarity with the MarTech ecosystem: CDPs (Zeotap, Segment, Tealium, mParticle or similar), marketing automation and CRM (e.g. Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud), analytics platforms, and the integrations between them., • Solid technical foundation: comfortable discussing data models, APIs, event tracking, identity resolution, system architecture, and privacy considerations with engineering teams., • Demonstrable experience defining user segmentation, data orchestration logic, and marketing automation workflows., • Proven use of AI tools to enhance product workflows (research, competitive analysis, experimentation, etc.) alongside solid knowledge of AI's evolving role in MarTech (predictive segmentation, generative personalisation, AI-driven decisioning)., • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end user lifecycle communication: defining messaging frameworks, engagement triggers, and channel logic across acquisition, onboarding, retention, and re-engagement., • Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making, including using analytics to measure product success., • Experience operating under GDPR and ePrivacy, and partnering effectively with Legal and Privacy functions., • Excellent communication skills: able to adapt the message for engineers, marketing leaders, and executives, and to articulate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences alike., • Comfortable operating in ambiguity: able to make considered decisions without perfect information and move teams forward., • Fluent English; German is a plus given the market context.
