As a Technical Solution Manager, you will own the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle of an IoT solution while driving cross-product initiatives. This role blends deep technical expertise with a strong product vision, ensuring market, technology, and regulatory requirements are transformed into commercially successful and technically robust solutions. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liOwnership of product strategy, roadmap, and complete lifecycle for the Smart Label product line in the high valuables domain from concept through co‑development with an external technology partner, launch, and end‑of‑life /li liCoordination of new device developments and re‑designs together with the lead engineer, system integration engineer, and the external development partner /li liOwnership of the connectivity strategy and lifecycle for all IoT device product lines to implement G+D connectivity beside other MNO’s connectivity /li liEnd‑to‑end thinking across device and IoT platform: identify domain‑specific requirements and translate them into both product streams /li liTranslation of market, customer, and domain requirements into technical requirements and features /li liPrioritization of functions and development tasks in alignment with the external development partner, internal engineering, and management /li liDirect interaction with customers, technical consultants and sales to understand high valuables market needs and feed them into product development (IoT devices and IoT platform) /li liTechnical evaluation of concepts, variants, and supplier solutions /li liAccompanying certification and testing activities from a product perspective (e.g., CE, EMC, NFC/RFID compliance) /li liMonitoring of product performance, field feedback, and quality KPIs /li liInitiation and steering of product improvements and redesigns based on data and feedback /li /ul h3What you bring /h3 h3Must Have /h3 ul liCompleted degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial engineering, or comparable /li li3+ years of experience in technical product management, systems engineering, or development of IoT or industrial products /li liUnderstanding and defining connectivity requirements for the Smart Label (e.g., NFC, RFID, Wifi, BLE, cellular), in coordination with G+D's connectivity portfolio and platform capabilities /li liSolid understanding of electronics, sensors, firmware, and mechanics /li liExperience with product roadmaps, requirements management, and development processes /li liAbility to think across domains: device, platform, customer value /li liExperience working with external development partners and suppliers /li liStrong analytical, communicative, and organizational skills /li liFluent in English (written and spoken), German and/or Spanish are a plus /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liExperience in the high valuables, luxury goods, pharmaceuticals, or security sector /li liKnowledge of smart label technologies (NFC, RFID, Wifi, BLE, printed electronics) /li liFamiliarity with wireless connectivity technologies (NFC, RFID, Wifi, BLE, LTE-M, NB‑IoT) and their trade‑offs in low‑power IoT devices /li liKnowledge of standards, certifications, and quality management (e.g., CE, EMC, ISO 27001) /li liExperience working with platform teams or cross‑product responsibility /li liBackground in logistics, asset tracking, or telematics /li liExperience managing co‑development projects with external technology partners /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 ul liCulture and diversity: Join a people oriented environment with different nationalities and a great team spirit, flat hierarchies (everyone speaks to everyone).
