We are looking for a talented and meticulous Drafter to join our US team in Madrid. This role will be based in the Madrid offices and will focus on supporting the technical development and documentation of a cultural project located in the US. The ideal candidate must combine an expert command of AutoCAD and BIM with a deep sensitivity for high-quality architectural design and the complexity of finishes. Responsibilities: • Elaborate and document construction drawings, architectural details, sections, and detailed elevations for cultural projects, focusing on the quality of finishes and the integration of exhibition elements., • Transform design concepts and specifications from architects and exhibition designers into precise, construction-ready technical documentation (CD sets)., • Ensure that all drawings rigorously comply with U.S. local and state building codes (IBC/IRC) relevant to public and cultural spaces., • Develop complex construction details, especially those related to lighting, millwork (fine carpentry), and the integration of technology into immersive experiences., • Manage and maintain consistency in design documentation, working under the Imperial system of units (feet and inches), and coordinating with teams in different U.S. time zones., • Perform plan reviews and actively participate in the multidisciplinary coordination process (MEP, Structures, Exhibit Designers). Requirements: • Education: Technical or university degree in Architecture, Interior/Exhibition Design, or related field., • Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience in drawing and documenting architectural design, museums, exhibitions, or high-end retail projects., • Software: Expert command of AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit (BIM)., • Language: C1 or Bilingual English level (written and spoken) for daily and technical communication with teams in the U.S., • Previous experience working on cultural projects such as museums or production of immersive experiences will be positively valued., • Strong understanding of finish materials, millwork details (carpentry), and building envelopes., • Working hours aligned to US-based project teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
