The IT Infrastructure, Network and Cybersecurity Expert is a critical leadership role within Digital Manufacturing Operations function, responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of all IT infrastructure, network systems, and cybersecurity operations at the plant level. This role serves as the primary point of accountability for the convergence of IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments, ensuring that manufacturing systems operate securely. The position reports to the Digital Manufacturing Operations Head and works in close collaboration with global IT teams, plant operations, quality, and HSE functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES IT Infrastructure & Network • Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (servers, storage, virtualization, networks), • Ensure system performance, availability, and lifecycle management (patching, updates), • Manage LAN/WAN/WiFi, segmentation (IT/OT), and connectivity with global teams Cybersecurity • Implement and enforce site cybersecurity strategy aligned with global standards (NIST/ISO 27001), • Oversee threat detection, risk assessments, incident response, and security tools (SIEM, IAM, IDS/IPS) and promote security awareness across the site OT/IT & Manufacturing Support • Act as IT liaison for OT systems (SCADA, MES, LIMS) and ensure secure integration, • Support manufacturing-critical systems, minimizing downtime and ensuring quick resolution Compliance & Quality • Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, and internal standards, • Support audits, CSV documentation, and change control processes Business Continuity • Manage Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans, including testing and backups Vendors, Budget & Projects • Manage vendors, contracts, and SLAs, • Oversee IT budget and cost optimization, • Lead infrastructure and transformation projects aligned with global strategy Team Leadership • Set team objectives and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement REQUIREMENTS • Higher education in Information Technology or similar., • Min 5 years of experience in a similar environment, • English for everyday business communication (C1), • Very good problem solving and stakeholder management skills TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS • Networking: Routing and switching (Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent), Firewall management (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA), VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL/TLS), Network Access Control (NAC), Wireless infrastructure management, • Infrastructure Platforms: Virtualization: VMware vSphere/vCenter, Microsoft Hyper-V Windows Server, Linux administration, Microsoft Azure / AWS cloud services, Storage systems (SAN, NAS) and backup solutions, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, • Cybersecurity: SIEM platforms (Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel),Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Vulnerability management tools (Tenable, Qualys), Identity & Access Management (IAM/PAM), Frameworks: NIST CSF & ISO 27001, • Manufacturing & OT Systems: SCADA/DCS systems and industrial protocols (OPC-UA, Modbus, Profinet), MES platforms (Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell, etc...),OT network security and industrial DMZ architecture, Computer System Validation (CSV) in GxP environments, • Monitoring & Management: IT monitoring tools, ITSM platforms (ServiceNow), Configuration Management Database (CMDB) WORKING CONDITIONS • On-site role based at the Riells i Viabrea manufacturing plant, • Occasional travel (~10–15%) to other sites, vendors, and global IT meetings, • Participation in on-call rotation for critical incidents and cybersecurity events, • Close collaboration with global IT, plant leadership, Quality, Operations, HSE and external vendors, • Manufacturing environment with mandatory compliance to safety and hygiene requirements
