🔬 Validation Engineer – iPronics Are you ready to be part of a team redefining the future of optical networks for AI and data centers? At iPronics, pioneers in software-defined photonics and creators of the world’s first programmable optical switch on silicon, we’re looking for a Validation Engineer to join our Lab team and help shape the next generation of photonic innovation. 👉 ___ 👉 🧭 What You’ll Do As a Validation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in our laboratory, collaborating closely with design, integration, and product teams. You’ll be responsible for: • Designing experimental test plans for PICs and optical components developed in-house., • Improving measurement flows and data collection methodologies., • Performing optical and electrical measurements (passive and active) in the lab environment., • Developing Python scripts to automate equipment control and data processing., • Conducting SEM inspections of PIC-level structures., • Creating detailed reports summarizing results, conclusions, and proposed improvements., • Collaborating in multidisciplinary projects involving validation and testing tasks. ✅ What We’re Looking For Education & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Physics, or a related field., • Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an optical laboratory environment. Technical Skills • Hands-on experience in photonics lab procedures: fiber cleaning, cleaving, alignment, and setup preparation., • Proficiency with optical and electrical instrumentation (OSA, optical sources, DC probes, power meters, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, etc.)., • Familiarity with PIC layouts and handling., • Python programming for equipment automation and data post-processing., • English level: C1 or equivalent., • Nice to have: experience in integrated photonics labs, active/passive Si PIC measurements, and SEM image collection.
