What you will be doing You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of RFE Airframe F&DT Engineer and can expect to be involved in the following: Analyse composite & hybrid structures for Fatigue and Damage Tolerance according to validated methods. Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines. Define, interpret and validate tests. Interface and communicate with relevant stakeholders. Provide relevant input to design for the creation of drawings for manufacture and support to other functions (i.e. production, customer support) as needed. Provide stress analysis for the repair/acceptance of damaged structures. Perform monitoring/guidance/support of Sub-contracting firms providing structure analysis work. Typical tools and technologies you are working on will be, as example, Python, ISAMI, Hypermesh, NASGRO. Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position. Rotational placement activities will be defined in the structure analysis function, with PET or Customer Support knowledge and support and FAL visits. At the end of the 2 year development programme you will have developed into the position of RFE Airframe F&DT Engineer! What we look for To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have: A degree level or equivalent within Engineering / Aeronautical, Mechanical or Materials Demonstrable interest in resolving technical issues and knowledge of Nastran, Hyperworks, Python would be beneficial Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English) A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
