Say farewell to the ordinary, and hello to the extraordinary! /p h3Job Description /h3 pbWhat you’ll do /b /p pWe are looking for an Housekeeping Supervisor intern to be a part of the team at SLS Barcelona. Under the guidance of the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the overall operation of the housekeeping department. /p ul liEnsure all departmental service standards and sequences of service are being upheld. /li liWork collaboratively with all housekeeping partners on a day‑to‑day basis. /li liMaintain a close relationship with the Front Office and Engineering Team. /li liEnsure guest satisfaction – address guest issues as they arise and provide prompt correspondence if necessary. /li liCheck public areas, guest rooms/suites, equipment, linens are clean and in good repair advise team members of areas of improvements. /li liSupport in handling complaints and special requests and needs of the guests, VIPs and repeat visitors to achieve complete guest satisfaction. /li liPromote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other department managers. /li liMay assist with deep cleaning projects and/or assist housekeeping staff during high volume periods. /li liPerform housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds as well as vacuuming and cleaning guest suites to ensure guest satisfaction. /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pbWhat we are looking for... /b /p ul liYou´re studying a bachelor´s/master´s degree in hospitality or a related field. /li liYou have the possibility to sign an agreement with your school for a period of preferably 6 months. /li liSomeone who understands, celebrates, and embraces the SLS brand values. /li liAbility to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. /li liProactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, emphatic, team‑worker, with a high-level attention to detail and passion for hospitality. /li liExcellent verbal and written communication skills.
