This role is responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing marine air conditioning and refrigeration systems on a variety of vessels, following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include diagnosing system issues, performing preventive maintenance, replacing components, charging and recovering refrigerants, and documenting all work performed. The technician will interact with customers and crew members, provide clear explanations of work and recommendations, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams when ordering parts or planning retrofits.
