Job Overview We are looking for an experienced and strategic Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) to serve as the primary HR point of contact for our employees in Spain. In a context of continued organizational transformation, this role will provide strategic advisory and operational HR support across multiple business units and leadership teams, ensuring HR strategies are fully aligned with business goals. The ideal candidate will be a trusted partner to senior leadership, proactively contributing to people-related decisions that drive business performance, enhance talent development, and foster sustainable growth. Key Responsibilities • Provide strategic HR guidance to the leadership team, aligning HR strategies with business objectives., • Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and implement a talent strategy that fosters business growth and the development of new business and operating models., • Work closely with Sanoma Learning’s Centers of Excellence (COEs) to localize and implement corporate HR programs while ensuring alignment with Spain’s specific needs., • Manage employee relations, serving as the primary liaison with the Works Council to ensure effective communication and collaboration., • Drive change management initiatives, fostering employee engagement and implementing internal communication strategies that align employees with the company’s strategic goals., • Strengthen Sanoma Learning’s employer brand in Spain to enhance talent attraction and retention., • Ensure compliance with Spanish labor laws and best HR practices. Requirements • University degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, or a related field., • 5+ years of HR experience, with a proven track record as an HRBP in an international environment., • Deep knowledge of Spanish labor laws and HR regulations., • Demonstrated experience in HR generalist roles, organizational restructuring, change management, and talent development., • Strong background in employee relations and negotiations with Works Councils., • Experience in project management and the successful implementation of HR initiatives., • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment., • Languages: Fluency in Spanish and English.
