Payment Solutions Manager (Payments Gateway) About the Role We are looking for a strategic and analytical Payment Solutions Manager to drive the expansion and optimization of our global payment capabilities. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and integrating payment providers, ensuring our gateway offers competitive, reliable, and scalable solutions across markets. You will work closely with product, operations, compliance, and commercial teams to enhance our payment ecosystem and support business growth. Key Responsibilities • Research, identify, and evaluate new payment providers, acquirers, APMs (Alternative Payment Methods), and banking partners across different regions, • Conduct commercial, technical, and regulatory due diligence on potential partners, • Compare providers based on pricing, performance, coverage, risk profile, and technical capabilities, • Lead the selection and onboarding of payment partners, including contract negotiation and commercial terms, • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define integration requirements and priorities, • Monitor and analyze provider performance (e.g., authorization rates, latency, success rates, cost efficiency), • Continuously optimize the payment stack by routing strategies and provider mix improvements, • Stay up to date with global payment trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes, • Work closely with compliance teams to ensure all partners meet regulatory and risk requirements (e.g., KYC/AML, PCI-DSS), • Support expansion into new markets by identifying the most relevant local payment methods and providers, • Build and maintain strong relationships with key payment partners and vendors, • Prepare business cases, reports, and recommendations for senior stakeholders Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, • 2+ years of experience in payments, fintech, business development, or partnerships, • Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem (acquirers, issuers, gateways, APMs, card schemes), • Proven experience in vendor evaluation, negotiation, and partner management, • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make strategic decisions, • Familiarity with payment metrics (e.g., authorization rates, conversion, chargebacks, routing logic), • Knowledge of global payment regulations and compliance frameworks is a plus, • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment, • Experience working with APIs and technical integrations is an advantage What We Offer • A key role in shaping a global payment infrastructure, • Exposure to leading payment technologies and international markets, • A dynamic and collaborative fintech environment, • Competitive compensation and growth opportunities
