Purpose of the Role: As a People Business Partner (PBP), you will play a key role in aligning the people strategy with the business objectives of our internal and external teams across different regions. This is a remote-first position, but we're looking for someone based in Málaga or nearby, as occasional in-person meetings or regional events may take place. Background: Professional Experience: - 5+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in a people business partner or similar capacity. - Proven experience supporting teams in a service-oriented or project-based industry. Experience in life sciences or translation is a plus. - Experience implementing employee engagement or culture-building initiatives in remote-first or hybrid environments. (Preferred) - Familiarity with the unique challenges of managing freelancers, contractors, and external vendors. (Preferred) Technical Knowledge: - Strong understanding of HR best practices, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. - English and Spanish are a must. - Knowledge of workforce trends in the life sciences or translation industry. (Preferred) Formal / Academic Background: - Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - Advanced HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
