We're partnering with an innovative engineering company developing advanced wireless communication technologies for next-generation connectivity solutions. As a Senior RF Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, testing, and optimization of radio frequency systems supporting complex wireless communication platforms. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout the complete product lifecycle—from concept and design through integration, validation, and deployment. Location Barcelona, Spain Work Model 100% On‑site (Office & Laboratory Based) Eligibility Applicants must already hold a valid work permit authorizing employment in Spain. What You’ll Do • Design, develop, and optimize RF circuits, subsystems, and communication hardware for advanced wireless applications., • Support the development and optimization of antennas, RF front‑end architectures, filters, amplifiers, and microwave components., • Perform RF modeling, simulation, characterization, and performance analysis across communication systems operating in UHF, L-Band, S-Band, and comparable RF frequency ranges., • Execute laboratory testing, verification, validation, and acceptance testing of RF systems and components., • Troubleshoot RF communication issues, diagnose performance limitations, and implement technical improvements., • Analyze signal propagation, RF interference, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI), and overall communication performance., • Support system integration, field validation, installation, and commissioning activities when required., • Ensure products comply with applicable industry regulations and certification requirements., • Monitor system performance and contribute to continuous improvements in reliability, efficiency, and product quality., • Prepare engineering documentation including design specifications, validation reports, test procedures, technical analyses, and verification records., • Collaborate closely with Hardware, Systems, Embedded Software, Manufacturing, Integration, and Test Engineering teams throughout product development. Required Qualifications Education • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience • 5+ years of professional experience in RF Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Wireless Communications, or related fields., • Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, wireless communication principles, impedance matching, signal propagation, and RF system architecture., • Experience working with communication systems operating in UHF, L-Band, S-Band, GNSS/GPS, or comparable wireless communication technologies., • Hands‑on experience using RF laboratory equipment, including RF signal generators., • Experience performing RF measurements, troubleshooting, system validation, verification, and performance optimization., • Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience in one or more of the following areas would be highly beneficial: • Satellite Communications, • Aerospace or Space Systems, • RF Front‑End Design, • Microwave Engineering, • Antenna Design and Characterization, • Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC/EMI), • Embedded Systems, • High‑Speed PCB Design, • Compliance Testing and Product Certification (FCC, CE, or equivalent), • Radar Systems, • IoT Connectivity, • GNSS/GPS Technologies A Master's degree in RF Engineering, Microwave Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is considered an advantage. Experience with industry‑standard simulation and design tools such as: • HFSS, • Keysight ADS (Advanced Design System) Knowledge of modern wireless communication standards including LTE, 5G, Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, or similar technologies is also desirable.
