The Opportunity We are looking for a EPC & EU Funding Governance & Reporting Manager to join a unique project in Europe: the construction of a groundbreaking chemical plant funded by the European Union. You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer (CPO) and have direct visibility with senior leadership, institutional investors, and European bodies. This is a strategic role with real influence on project execution and on our relationship with public funders. Your mission will be to ensure the project advances with the right governance, meets EU program requirements, and provides clear, structured, high‑quality information to our investors. What You Will Do • Lead project governance and stakeholder management with investors, funding authorities, and strategic partners., • Serve as the primary point of contact for EU Project Officers, ensuring smooth and constructive collaboration., • Coordinate compliance with reporting, monitoring, and audit requirements for programs such as Horizon Europe and Innovation Fund., • Translate project management metrics, technical progress, and financial data into high‑impact reports and presentations., • Oversee governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with EU regulations, internal standards, and investor expectations., • Manage risk governance, decision‑making processes, escalation pathways, and steering committees., • Review and validate technical, financial, and organizational documentation for approvals and audits., • Ensure contractual and regulatory compliance across all EPC phases., • Act as a key liaison between engineering, procurement, legal teams, and external institutional stakeholders. What We’re Looking For • Engineering degree: Chemical, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation & Control, • A minimum of 5 years working on industrial plant projects. Experience in large‑scale chemical industries and/or +10 years of experience will be viewed as a significant plus., • Proven track record managing EU‑funded projects, including direct interaction with Project Officers., • Strong understanding of EPC (Engineering, Purchasing and Construction) project cycles and governance structures., • Certification in Project Management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, IPMA, etc.)., • Experience working directly with the European Commission, CINEA, EIB, or industrial investors., • Knowledge of EU taxonomy, CSRD, sustainability reporting, and environmental compliance., • Professional proficiency in English (C1)., • Professional proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese (C1).
