Overall, we are a highly dynamic company with a clear focus on research and innovation for providing reliable solutions that have robust, dependable, and reliable timing at their core. /p h3What You’ll Be Doing as a Sales Manager /h3 pYou will have responsibility for the Aerospace, Defense and Government (ADG) sales activity in the assigned Spain region for the Safran Electronics Defense products with day‑to‑day coordination with different sites and business partners. As a key member of our Sales team, you will assist in the creation and implement tactical plans to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets. You will increase market penetration by understanding the competitive market landscape, and how Safran Electronics Defense technology can be of use. You will work with and support the distribution scheme for the territory (direct, indirect, channel, etc.), to ensure high‑quality customer relationships are developed and maintained. /p h3What Success Looks Like /h3 ul liExceed annual order plan for assigned territory /li liExecute on plans to increase orders in territory as aligned with the company strategy /li liConsistent collaboration with Regional Director, Program Managers on Program sales /li liUtilization of partners to optimize the channel, including joint account calls and sales support /li liUnderstanding of technology trends, relative business impacts and opportunities /li liComprehension of assigned market dynamics, including competitive landscape, to: ul liIdentify ripe target markets/applications /li liSupport of creation and execution of plans to penetrate market /li /ul /li liDevelop and enhance customer relationships such that Safran Electronics Defense is viewed as a partner to our customers /li liStrong key account management; building on existing relationships with major customers and establishing new relationships with other key customers (either directly or through team) /li liEnsure timely and accurate response to customer inquiries, leads and sales opportunities /li /ul h3Knowledge, Skills Abilities We’re Looking For /h3 ul liA proven track record of exceeding sales targets /li liInterpersonal skills to develop relationships with customers and partners /li liTeam player with excellent communication and presentation skills /li liSelf‑starter, confident, committed, and enthusiastic /li liAbility to take initiative, multi‑task and prioritize /li liProficient in prospecting, negotiating, and closing /li liAbility to proficiently use MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) /li liAbility to connect with team members who are in different locations /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liBackground in a Technical education or Engineering discipline /li li10+ years of technical sales experience with relevant electronic products, ideally in defense /li liPlus: experience with Position, Navigation, Timing and/or Simulation products /li liExtensive experience in working with a field sales channel, both direct and reps or distributors /li /ul pSafran Electronics Defense is an equal opportunity employer who does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any protected category.
