Are you a chemist with a commercial mindset? Do you have experience in technical sales, B2B sales or business development within the chemical industry? Are you motivated by working directly with customers, understanding their technical needs, and turning them into business opportunities? Pulcra Chemicals is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to join our Fiber Business and drive business growth across Europe. This is an international, customer-facing position combining technical expertise, sales and business development. You will work with customers and distributors across several European markets, supported by Pulcra's international commercial, technical and R&D teams. About the role You will be responsible for developing and growing the Fiber business in your assigned markets, managing existing customer relationships while actively identifying and developing new business opportunities. You will combine your chemical knowledge and commercial skills to understand customer processes and challenges, recommend suitable solutions and support the successful implementation of Pulcra products. Your work will include: • Managing and developing existing customer accounts., • Identifying and acquiring new customers and business opportunities., • Developing sales within assigned European markets., • Conducting regular customer visits and building long-term business relationships., • Presenting Pulcra's specialty chemical products and technical solutions., • Understanding customer processes and identifying technical and commercial needs., • Preparing commercial proposals, negotiating conditions and closing business opportunities., • Coordinating with technical and laboratory teams on product trials and customer applications., • Following up on industrial trials and supporting successful product implementation., • Monitoring market trends, competitors and customer needs., • Representing Pulcra at international trade fairs and industry events., • Working closely with international colleagues to implement commercial strategies., • Reporting on sales activities, opportunities and business development. What are we looking for? We are looking for a commercially minded technical professional who enjoys working with customers and developing business. Education • Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related scientific/technical discipline. Experience • Experience in B2B sales, technical sales, sales engineering, account management or business development., • Experience within the chemical industry, preferably in specialty chemicals, polymers, fibers or textiles., • Experience dealing directly with industrial customers and/or distributors., • Experience developing existing accounts as well as generating new business., • Experience with technical product trials or application support is a plus. Experience specifically in the fiber industry is an advantage. We are also open to candidates who have a strong technical background in chemistry and have successfully moved into a commercial or customer-facing role. Languages • English – professional/fluent level., • Spanish – required., • Catalan – preferred. Skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills., • Customer-oriented and commercially driven., • Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly to customers., • Negotiation and presentation skills., • Proactive approach to identifying business opportunities., • Ability to work independently and manage priorities., • Comfortable working in an international environment., • Willingness to travel regularly within Europe. A plus, but not essential • Experience in specialty chemicals., • Knowledge of chemical fibers, polymers or textile applications., • Existing network within the fiber/textile/chemical industry., • Experience working with distributors., • Experience with industrial trials and technical product implementation.
