Alicante
If you’re a Director of Sales with a strong MICE network in the region and the ability to actively drive business, this is a role with real impact. Following its rebrand to Four Points by Sheraton, this hotel is looking for someone who can immediately position the property in the right markets and bring high-quality, proactive opportunities through the door. Located next to Terra Mítica and just 40 minutes from Alicante Airport, this well‑established resort is entering a significant new chapter. Formerly the Grand Luxor Hotel & Village, the property is now transitioning to Four Points by Sheraton, bringing global brand recognition and new commercial opportunity. The hotel offers over 300 rooms, a collection of villas, multiple food and beverage outlets and more than 1,500 sqm of meeting and event space. It is already a strong leisure destination — the next phase is about strengthening its position as a leading MICE and corporate venue. This is where you come in. We’re looking for a commercially driven Director of Sales to lead the repositioning of the hotel within the market, with a clear focus on proactive sales and high-quality lead generation. This is not a reactive role. You will be expected to bring pace, direction and a strong external presence — building a consistent pipeline of business across meetings, events and corporate segments. You’ll take ownership of the commercial plan, working closely with the General Manager and Revenue team to convert strategy into delivery. A significant part of your role will be driving MICE performance, identifying new opportunities and ensuring the hotel is firmly positioned within the right networks and channels. Crucially, this role requires someone who already has traction in the local market. You’ll arrive with established relationships, particularly across MICE, and the credibility to quickly open doors and bring business to the hotel. Alongside the external focus, you’ll lead and develop the on‑property sales and events team, setting clear direction, raising standards and ensuring a consistent, high-quality approach to conversion. • Proven experience in a Director of Sales or senior sales leadership role within hospitality, • A strong and active network within the local and regional MICE market, • Ability to generate proactive business, not just manage inbound demand, • Experience working within a branded environment, ideally Marriott or similar, • Commercially confident, with the ability to interpret performance and challenge appropriately, • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working alongside ownership and senior leadership, • Fluency in English and Spanish Aimbridge Hospitality EMEA is part of the global Aimbridge brand, managing a diverse portfolio across leading international operators including Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Accor.
