The opportunity As an Industrialization Team Leader (Power Electronics), you will be responsible for leading the industrialization of advanced power conversion products, ensuring a seamless transition from R&D to mass production. You will work closely with cross-functional and global teams to deliver scalable, cost-efficient, and high-quality manufacturing solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to bridge engineering and operations, driving industrial excellence while contributing to the deployment of innovative technologies for the energy transition. How you’ll make an impact • Lead the industrialization of new products (converters, inverters, PCS), ensuring an efficient New Product Introduction (NPI) process from design to serial production, • Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) principles are fully implemented, • Validate manufacturing processes and guarantee that product design requirements are properly translated into production, • Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes, including electronic assembly, power assembly, wiring, and mechanical integration, • Define plant layouts, workflows, and takt time to meet production targets, • Select and implement industrial equipment, including assembly tools and automation systems, • Define and control industrial product costs (BoM + BoP), • Identify and drive productivity improvements through lean manufacturing and automation initiatives, • Lead cost reduction activities (VA/VE – Value Analysis / Value Engineering), • Act as a key interface between R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Service, • Coordinate with key suppliers such as PCB manufacturers, integrators, and contract manufacturers, • Manage industrialization projects in a global, multi-site environment, ensuring alignment on timelines, risks, and resources Your background • Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Electronic, or similar), • 3–5 years of experience in industrialization or manufacturing engineering, ideally within power electronics, automotive, energy, or renewables sectors, • Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes: electronic assembly, power assembly, wiring, mechanical integration, • Experience managing complex projects, including timelines, resources, and risks, • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in international environments, • Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish is required (at least B2). Nice to have: • Understanding of power electronics technologies (topologies, IGBT, SiC, system integration), • Familiarity with standards and certifications (IEC, UL, grid codes), • Experience with tools such as PLM, ERP, MES, basic CAD, and cost analysis, • Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams (process engineering, quality, testing) More about us We offer a permanent position where you will be part of an international and collaborative environment, working on cutting-edge power electronics technologies that enable the energy transition.
