Join now the Envision team in Spain to solve challenges for humanity’s sustainability future. About the Role: The EHS Manager (Spain) will support and kick-off the Spain upcoming projects portfolio. He/she will lead the EHS department in Spain developing and coordinating EHS policies, conducting risk assessments, managing audits, and ensuring compliance with Spain regulations and industry standards. He/she will review EHS requirements and documentation, liaise with stakeholders, and oversee the smooth integration of HSE requirements across design, commissioning, installation and O&M phases. This position will play a critical role in safeguarding project delivery timelines, strengthening compliance frameworks, and building local EHS capability for ongoing and future projects. Responsibilities: • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, especially in energy and construction sectors., • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments on active BESS projects., • Develop, implement, and maintain BESS-specific health and safety plans., • Lead and support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning., • Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and ongoing training to employees and contractors., • Promote best practices in electrical safety, with emphasis on LV and HV systems., • Maintain and update safety records including RAMS, audit reports, incident logs, and training records., • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to enforce and improve safety performance. Qualifications: • 5-7 years of relevant EHS experience in the energy or construction sector., • Master en Seguridad y Salud. Especialidad de Seguridad en el trabajo y ergonomía y psicología aplicada., • In-depth knowledge of Spanish Health and Safety legislation and applicable codes of practice., • Demonstrated experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations., • Strong understanding of electrical safety protocols and practices., • Ability to design and implement practical safety strategies and site-specific controls., • Experience and strong confidence in delivering inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions to diverse audiences., • Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively alongside contractors and multi-disciplinary teams., • Full driving licence and willingness to travel frequently to project sites., • Ideally, experience with ISO 45001 implementation or maintenance.
