We work closely with major global partners - including governments, international financial institutions, and UN agencies - to deliver a wide range of services, such as project management, fund management, hosting services, and HR support. /p h3About the Country/Multi-Country Office /h3 pNot Required - part of GPO/NYPO /p h3Job Specific Context /h3 pUNOPS has signed an agreement with Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) to support the Enterprise Solutions Service (ESS) to develop and support enterprise solutions which are designed to integrate core systems, processes, and data across all areas of the Organization. /p pThis position will be part of the team which supports Inspira (UN Talent Management System system) and related applications. /p h3Role Purpose /h3 pUnder the overall supervision of UNOPS Senior Programme Manager, with the guidance and under the supervision of the Senior Information Systems Officer – HR-IT the incumbent will perform the job functions listed in this TOR. /p h3Functions / Key Results Expected /h3 pTechnical Solution Delivery and Support /p pTechnical Analysis and Stakeholder Engagement /p pKnowledge Management and Continuous Improvement /p pTechnical Solutions Delivery and Support /p pProvides advanced technical architecture support for Inspira, contributing to the design, enhancement, optimization, and maintenance of PeopleSoft modules, customizations, workflows, and related system components. /p pDesigns and implements AI-enabled solutions for Talent Management, Performance Management, and other Inspira modules, utilizing machine learning, natural language processing, automation, and emerging technologies to improve business processes and user experience. /p pDevelops, enhances, and maintains complex PeopleSoft components, including PeopleCode, Application Engines, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker, while performing advanced SQL tuning, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. /p pDesigns, develops, and supports APIs and system integrations across enterprise platforms, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable data exchange in accordance with established architectural and integration standards. /p pEngages with stakeholders, business teams, and technical counterparts to gather, analyze, and validate requirements, and design technical solutions that address complex business needs. /p pDesigns, implements monitoring tools, dashboards, and performance indicators to proactively monitor and evaluate Inspira system performance and operational effectiveness. /p pReviews and optimizes support and escalation procedures, coordinating technical and business stakeholders to improve operational efficiency, issue resolution, and user satisfaction. /p pPerforms other duties as may be reasonably required and in line with the incumbent's scope of services above. /p h3Skills /h3 pCommunication, Interpersonal Skills, PeopleCode, PeopleSoft, PeopleTools, Python, Technical Architecture /p pDevelops and implements sustainable business strategies, thinks long term and externally in order to positively shape the organisation. Handles conflict effectively, by overcoming differences of opinion and finding common ground. /p h3Education Requirements /h3 pRequired /p pAn advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) preferably in information technology, computer science, engineering, statistics , or other related field with 5 years of relevant experience is required OR /p pA first-level university degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) preferably in the above- mentioned fields of study, with 7 years of relevant experience. /p pCertification in PRINCE2 /p pCertification in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning /p h3Experience Requirements /h3 pRequired: /p ul liRelevant experience is defined as experience i n the analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise information systems. /li liExperience in the functional and technical administration, enhancement, and support of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and talent management systems, such as Inspira or Umoja. /li liExperience in implementing technology solutions, integrating enterprise applications and data flows, and preparing functional and technical documentation. /li liExperience in ERP solution architecture and Human Resources Management Systems (HRMS), including requirements analysis, solution design, testing, deployment, and support across the system development lifecycle, is required. /li /ul pExperience in successfully implementing digital transformation initiatives, including managing the full lifecycle development of complex systems using PRINCE2 methodologies. /p pExperience in the development and configuration of ERP Solutions in the area of human resources management systems, including modules such as talent management, performance management and learning management, integrations, and data flows are required. /p pExperience in applying emerging technologies, data analytics, and design thinking to enhance system usability, efficiency, and inclusivity. /p pExperience supporting cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders. /p pExposure to the software development process of the United Nations Common System. /p h3Additional Information /h3 ul liUNOPS does not accept unsolicited resumes. /li liUNOPS will at no stage of the recruitment process request candidates to make payments of any kind. /li liApplications to vacancies must be received before midnight Copenhagen time (CET) on the closing date of the announcement.
