The Specialist serves as the primary point of accountability for ordnance inventory systems, maintenance management programs, and compliance reporting. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liProviding administrative and quality assurance (QA) support for the 3M and Planned Maintenance System Scheduler (SKED) programs, and assisting EODMU8 and EODMU8 DETACHMENT EUROPE in completing scheduled maintenance for all small arms and crew-served weapons systems by performing administrative verifications of completed maintenance actions to ensure compliance with 3M standards. /li liConducting and documenting two 3M Spot Checks per week utilizing the EODMU EIGHT spot check form to ensure adherence to Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRC) and safety protocols, and report completion to EODMU8 Readiness and Training Officer and 3M Coordinator via Outlook email. /li liExecuting all inventory, receipt, and administrative duties for AAE of Ordnance Information System (OIS) and Non-Combat Expenditure Allocation (NCEA) Management as per NAVSUP P-724 and OIS for EODMU8 and EODMU8 DETACHMENT EUROPE. /li liMonitoring CWS and AAE inventory and readiness in OIS and serving as CWS Commodity Administrator in ELMS as per NAVSUP P-724, and conducting monthly and annual inventories of AAE as per NAVSUP P-724, reporting status generated in OIS to EODMU-8 Readiness and Training Officer via Outlook email. /li liCoordinating with EODGRU TWO and Naval Munitions Command, Rota (NMC Rota) for the issue and receipt of CWS and AAE as required via Outlook email, with documentation of issue and receipt conducted in OIS. /li liAdministering the SKED database for EODMU8 and EODMU8 DETACHMENT EUROPE CWS by serving as the Armory 3M Work Center Administrator. /li liMaintaining a current digital library containing all applicable references and performing all duties in accordance with said references, with access provided via a NOSSA account. /li /ul pThis position is contingent on contract award. /p h3Physical Demands /h3 ul liWhile performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear. /li liEmployee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer. /li liReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. /li liAbility to drive a motor vehicle in environments including city, highway, and rural roads CONUS and OCONUS. /li liMust be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. /li /ul h3Travel /h3 ul li0-10% / Minimal travel. /li /ul h3Basic Requirements /h3 ul liExperience at a military paygrade of E-7 or higher. /li liCurrent, active Secret security clearance. /li liExtensive knowledge in a military ordnance-related field, to include knowledge of AAE Hazard/Class, Condition codes, Navy Ammunition Reclassification reports, Ammunition Information Notices, and Navy Ammunition Logistics Codes. /li liExtensive knowledge in logistics support services to manage the full lifecycle of AAE and CWS assets, to include NAVSUP P-724 for the Ordnance Information System (OIS), COMNECC 4790.1 for 3M, and DoD Manual for the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS). /li liHands‑on experience with the Navy Maintenance and Material Management (3M) program, and the 3M Planned Maintenance System Scheduler (SKED), to include maintenance scheduling, maintenance tracking, work center compliance reviews, and verification of completed scheduled and corrective maintenance actions. /li liOutstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus. /li liProfessional proficiency in English is required. /li liDemonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications. /li liCandidate must be able to obtain a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) designation approval. /li liValid driver’s license (proof of which will be required after hire) and ability to qualify for and maintain company liability insurance through a clean driving record. /li liU.S. Passport required. /li liApplicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full‑time basis.
