Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients. /li liPrepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist. /li liPrepare cold foods. /li liOperate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers. /li liTest foods to determine if they have been cooked sufficiently. /li liMonitor food quality while preparing food. Set-up and break down work station. /li liServe food in proper portions onto proper receptacles.
