ph3Job Description /h3 pAirbus Defence and Space SAU invites applications for the role of Airworthiness Technical Engineer for Instructions for Continued Airworthiness (ICAs) and Generic and Individual Repairs. /p h3Mission /h3 pThe main mission of the Airworthiness Technical Engineer is to define applicable certification requirements for ICAs (AMM, Trouble Shooting Manual, IPC, etc.) to demonstrate its compliance, and to participate in the approval of Generic and Individual repairs as part of the different aircraft manuals and continuing airworthiness artefacts. /p h3Functions and Tasks /h3 ul liDefine applicable certification requirements for ICAs (AMM, Trouble Shooting Manual, IPC, etc.), including ALS and demonstrate its compliance. /li liCoordinate and perform the airworthiness approval of Individual and Generic Repairs, exercising DOA/MDOA privileges (when available) as delegated by the Chief of the Office of Airworthiness. /li liProvide expertise in ICAs and other continuing airworthiness artefacts to the design organization. /li liContribute to the definition of policies for the discipline under his/her scope, and promote their consistent application across programmes, including participation in the development of new and foreseen airworthiness strategies or policies, in particular for novel or unusual design features or for compliance demonstration method improvement. /li liContribute to Airbus DS Research and Technology (RT) projects related to the discipline (repairs using additive manufacturing, maintenance of future, etc.). /li liContribute to develop specialised training to the overall Design Organization on the discipline under his/her scope. /li liSupport the timely achievement of approval of ICAs, Individual and Generic Repairs through identification of technical issues and associated risk management plan, identification of regulation and interpretation issues, all of which in coordination with design office, including relevant CVEs, Chief Engineer and Services Organisation. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 ul liManaging trans‑functional and trans‑national projects. /li liMore than 5 years of experience in the described functions. /li liMaster in Aeronautical Engineering. /li liProven experience in ICAs and ALS generation. /li liExperience in Airworthiness functions, in particular in structure (static and fatigue) and/or systems certification. /li liExperience interfacing with the Aviation Authorities; will be a plus for the position. /li liKnowledge about repair process and other ICA is desirable. /li liFluent English (knowledge of Spanish language will be a plus for the position). /li liBeing capable to develop a CVE/DAE role in a short period of time after recruitment. /li /ul h3Company /h3 pAirbus Defence and Space SAU /p h3Employment Details /h3 pEmployment Type: Permanent Experience Level: Professional Job Family: Qualification Operability /p h3Equal Opportunity Statement /h3 pAirbus is committed to achieving workforce diversity and creating an inclusive working environment.
