ppAt Airbus Defence and Space, the domain 'Integration Test Analysis' in Getafe (Spain) is looking for additional staff in the perimeter of Human Factors Engineering Testing within the Avionics and Mission Systems area supporting cross-program activities. The successful applicant will become part of the team based in Getafe (although depending on programs' workload it may also require support to testing activities during short-mid periods of time in other sites as Seville, Manching, Air Force Bases, etc.). /p pThe COC 'Flight Integration Test Centre', in the engineering cluster 'Aircraft and Systems' from Airbus Defence and Space, is responsible for the planning, preparation and implementation of all integration test activities at subsystem, system and A/C level as well for analysing test data and reporting results and providing the necessary evidence. In addition, it develops, produces, qualifies and supplies all the test means necessary to carry out all types of tests; not only for the integration tests under its own responsibility, but also to support the self-test activities in the early development phase or to carry out hardware and software tests before its integration. As of today, the main customers are the current aircraft programs A330 MRTT, A400M, C295, Eurodrone, SIRTAP and NGF and FCAS are also part of it. /p pWe are currently looking for a Test Specialist (mainly devoted to Human Factors), within Integration Test Analysis scope, for the Spanish perimeter of TADVA at Getafe site, who will help us to prepare, support, execute, analyse and report all related Human Factor test activities on sub-system/system and A/C level for avionics and mission integration scope in accordance with the requirements of the program-specific VV plans in a technical work environment with continuously increasing complexity. /p pIf you have a technical background as engineer with testing competences, and also feel comfortable in the technical coordination tasks among Test Centre domains, and relevant design offices, take advantage of this unique opportunity for a very varied, interesting and challenging job. /p h3Main Activities /h3 ul liAct as Test Specialist for Human Factors across all platforms (excluding Eurofighter), located in Getafe, covering from Simulators, Subsystem Rigs (Labs) to Aircraft Ground Flight test activities, reporting directly to the HO TADVA10 as well as to HO Test Integration Analysis (TADVA) and Test Program managers. /li liSupport Integrated Test Team forum within activities scope. /li liSupport for development, certification, qualification and production activities according to Test Program requirements. Ensure support appropriate VV strategy for these activities. Follow-up of test progress. /li liParticipate in the elaboration of Test planning; review, optimise and challenge Test Requests. /li liCoordinate with Test Framework and instrumentation domain to define proper means for required data reduction, monitoring and analysis. /li liInterface with DO, AW and certification authorities, supporting test activities on certification meetings, write Certification/Qualification Cards and test plans and Certification/Qualification Test Reports. /li liAssist Flight Test Engineer in preparation of Flight Test or simulator sessions: support FTE to write and/or prepare flight test order; follow test in telemetry and provide safety monitoring when needed; follow-up and provide expertise of test data reduction and detailed analysis; organise external Flight Test campaigns. /li liInterface and coordinate with Test Integrators, Design Offices, Chief Engineering Office and Program Offices. Provide expertise to system architecture and design definition from a Human Factors’ point of view. /li liProvide analysis and validation support of A/C limitations. /li liWrite and/or analyse Snags providing the rationale for its closure or requesting design modifications. /li liOptimise test data analysis methodologies and procedures and manage priorities. /li /ul h3Required Skills /h3 pWe are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in Human Factor aspects within Integration Testing (Simulators/RIG/AC Level) and the following skills and experience: /p ul liKnowledge of common Human Factors concepts such as Workload, Situational Awareness, usability, HMI, errors management, fatigue, ergonomics and the ways to assess them. /li liKnowledge of Human Factors Test Scales and Evaluation Methodologies (Bedford, NASA TLX, ISA, …). /li liExperience in Human Factors Development and Certification Processes (COHDA, FAHDA, Local and Global Evaluations, …). /li liKnowledge of Integration Test route map. /li liHighly focused on complying with timescales and milestones. /li liOpen‑minded to offer new ideas for improving processes and tools. /li liAvailable for travel and be prepared to work in several locations. /li liAny official formation in Integration and Test will be valued. /li liTechnical negotiation level in English and Spanish. /li liNATO SECRET will be valued. /li /ul h3Benefits /h3 pAt Airbus we are focused on our employees and their welfare.
