JOB TODAY has been selected to represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision…

Thankfully, we are appearing at ‘The Eurovision for StartupsNOT the Eurovision Song Contest.

CAN YOU IMAGINE…

“JOB TODAY’s latest employment-themed jingle has been selected to represent Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest:

Retail, restaurants and more,

Bringing the jobs you adore,

Europe’s number one app,

Employment after a few taps.”

But seriously, we have been selected as the winner of the Social category of the StartUp Europe Awards 2016 Luxembourg.

This means we will be attending the main event: ‘The Eurovision for Startups’ in Brussels.

#SEUA16 is an awards ceremony designed to celebrate local role models in different sectors of the European startup ecosystem. The event aims to connect successful European entrepreneurs and inspire future generations.

There are five geographical categories: Local, County, Regional, National and European.

And ten startup categories: Social, Energy, Fintech, Green, Health, Creative, ICT, Smart Cities, Tourism and Water.

We’ve been awarded the National award for Luxembourg – where our global headquarters are situated – in the category of Social. This means we are now competing with innovative social startup peers from right across the continent to be named Europe’s Best Social Startup.

The #SEUA16 Social category aims to highlight companies that “improve human wellbeing through social innovations,” with a focus on “enhancing citizens’ capacity to act.”

At JOB TODAY we are honoured that esteemed organisations such as #SEUA16 and collaborators Startup Grind, SEUAlliance, Finnova and the European Commission have recognised our success in disrupting the European jobs market by streamlining the recruitment process.

By taking the hiring process into the mobile sphere we have given employers the ability to source quality candidates, and jobseekers the power to connect with hiring managers, faster than ever before.

Since launching in May 2015:

We’ve attracted over 2 million jobseekers and over 150,000 businesses.

We’ve processed more than 20 million job applications, with 74% of job matches occurring in the first 24 hours.

We’ve raised $30 million in investment and now we’ve been selected to appear at ‘The Eurovision for Startups.’
