It’s been a great week at JOB TODAY

It’s been a pretty amazing week for us here at JOB TODAY.

First we made it to #1 in the app store for free business apps.

Then our wonderful founder Polina Montano gave an inspiring speech on reinventing recruitment at the NOAH 2016 tech conference in London.

And then we secured an extra $20 million in funding to help us grow.

Without sounding too much like massive big heads…

… We’re really proud of what we’ve achieved lately. 😇😇

Our latest round of investment came from existing investors Accel Partners, Mangrove Capital and Felix Capital, plus new funders Astremedia Channel 4 and German Media Pool VC.

We intend to use the funding to grow our team and make our platform even better.

Since we launched in May 2015 we’ve attracted over 2 million jobseekers and over 150,000 businesses.

During that time we’ve processed more than 20 million job applications, with 74% of job matches coming in the first 24 hours.

But our research shows there are around 60 million hospitality and retail vacancies per year in our key markets. So we have plenty of room for expansion.

Looking further ahead, we’re also planning to launch in Germany🇩🇪 and the USA🇺🇸. Exciting times.
