The Warehouse and Supply Manager here at Crate Brewery plays a crucial role in upholding the compliance and smooth running of our warehouse logistics. In this role you will use your developed organisational and communication skills to uphold consistently high health and safety standards, excellent service and delivery for our customers (B2B and B2C), and smooth working across teams within the group. You will work closely with the Stock and Procurement Manager, who manages this position. Person specification: • Organised with a methodical approach to managing routine task workload, • A positive, go-getting attitude, with stringent time and task management skills, • A problem solver, able to find efficient solutions in a fast paced environment, • A confident communicator with a focus on persuasive action both internally and externally, • Self motivated when solo working, and as part of a cross functional team, • Eager to collaborate with other departments or affiliate companies, and capable of working flexibly to achieve company goals, • Strong computer literacy - Google suite, Breww, Slack and Asana are key platforms used daily, • Possession of a full UK driving license (essential), • FLT license (essential), • Manual handling experience (highly desirable), • Knowledge of and an interest in craft beer (desirable) Core responsibilities: • Deliveries to our key customers, on time and in full, • Maintaining a high level of customer service at all times, • Managing the movement of goods from suppliers to warehouses and from warehouses to customers, • Ensuring Crate warehouse spaces are safe, tidy, organised, and compliant with health and safety regulations including weekly checks, • Conducting weekly stock takes, utilising stock rotation plans for optimal quality, including promptly reporting any issues or outages to the Stock & Procurement Manager, • Overseeing the storage and handling of goods, optimising space utilisation and implementing best practices in warehousing, • Handling, packing and dispatching goods on behalf of third party tenants, • Setting a high standard of manual handling, • Contributing to department meetings with the Brewery team to achieve common goals, • Assisting with procurement of raw materials for our suppliers, in line with Crate’s internal demand planning, • Monitoring supplier performance, communicating results to higher management, • Ensuring e-commerce operations are kept up to date, • Collecting and delivering relevant goods and equipment to facilitate business operations and project work

About The Role We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to take full ownership of our daily warehouse operations. This is a key role at the heart of our Food & Beverage and Logistics function, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. Working closely with our Soft FM and Maintenance teams, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining high operational standards while supporting wider business needs. Please note that a full UK driving license is required for this role. Key Responsibilities • Warehouse Operations, • Oversee deliveries, including unpacking, organisation, and supplier liaison for damaged or missing items, • Maintain accurate stock control, rotation, and regular stock takes, • Ensure all inventory data is recorded and up to date, • Health, Safety & Hygiene, • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant warehouse environment, • Monitor product dates to uphold a 5-star hygiene standard, • Manage waste, recycling, and storage audits, • Inventory & Fulfilment, • Ensure a 100% picking rate for next-day deliveries, • Work closely with Procurement to guarantee timely stock availability, • Carry out final quality checks before dispatch, • Operational Support, • Process deliveries for multiple departments, ensuring items are stored and labelled correctly, • Support maintenance operations by preparing stock for scheduled site visits, • Logistics & Driving Cover, • Provide driver cover when required, including early starts (from 4:30 AM), • Ensure timely delivery of goods to client locations, • Security & Fleet Management, • Manage keys, fobs, and access systems accurately, • Carry out regular vehicle checks and coordinate repairs when needed, • Additional Duties, • Handle urgent or reactive purchasing requests, • Support 3D space scanning (Matterporting) following training Interview Process • Phone call with a member of the team, • 1st round interview in our office with Phil (Head of Soft FM/Logistics), • Final interview with COO About You We’re looking for someone who is hands-on, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for a Warehouse Operative – Italian Speaking to join our team on a temporary basis, with the possibility of a permanent position. The successful candidate will play a key role in the efficient running of our warehouse, ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch. Loading and unloading deliveries. Receiving, checking, and storing incoming goods. Ensuring all stock is correctly labeled, stored, and accounted for. Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe. Assisting with stock checks and inventory management. Following health and safety regulations at all times. Requirements: Fluency in both Italian and English is essential. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
