The role of Chef De Partie: - Cooking seasonal classic European cuisine, using quality fresh ingredients, and adhering to recipes, specifications and standards. - Oversee and manage a designated kitchen station, ensuring the consistent preparation and delivery of high-quality dishes. - Training and supervision of Demi and Commis Chefs, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment. - Working as part of a professional team within a well-organised kitchen. - Full-Time and Part-Time roles available. We're looking for a Chef De Partie who: - Has previous experience as a Chef De Partie within a similar kitchen environment -- fresh food and high volume. - Is interested and knowledgeable about classical cuisines. - Has the ability to lead, inspire and motivate Demi or Commis Chefs. - Has effective communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. - Has the Right to Work in the UK. Overview The Counter Soho is looking for an experienced and dynamic Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team. Located on Kingly Street, near the bustling Carnaby Street, our restaurant offers a unique mix of Aegean flavours from Greece and Turkey, created by Chef Demirasal. Our dishes, inspired by his Izmir heritage, feature Mediterranean and Levantine influences, providing guests with an unforgettable dining experience. Key Responsibilities - Manage and inspire a team of staff to deliver exceptional service and achieve targets. - Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory, and maintaining high cleanliness standards. - Provide training opportunities and promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement. - Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations, maintaining hygiene standards. - Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners to support restaurant goals. - Requirements - Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry, ideally in a restaurant setting. - Proven track record of driving busy operations - Thinking on your feet and being active on a floor - please note it's not a laptop role we need you to be present during service. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. - Knowledge of relevant food safety and licensing regulations. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. We are looking for an experienced breakfast / deli chef for a neighbourhood cafe with an easy basic kitchen set up. Shifts are a mixture with two the same or mixed weekdays off per week and working times are 6.45am - 5.30pm with a 30 min break and 7am - 2.30pm or 9.30am - 5.30pm on weekends, please note every other weekend you will finish at 6.30pm on a Sunday due to kitchen deep cleaning. Payment is made every month but can be done fortnightly on a temp basis and payment is via PAYE.
