Main Duties - To manage the team of Kitchen Porters. - To ensure all duties are completed within required time frames. - To comply with all rules and regulations which are in place regarding food hygiene and health & safety practices, including COSHH. - To ensure kitchen waste is disposed of in a responsible manner and in line with company policy and local council regulations to assume responsibility for the Health & Safety management in restaurants, including risk assessments, statutory training for staff To be aware of, and comply with, safe working practices as laid down under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and Company H&S Manual, as applicable to your place of work. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards at your workplace To report any faulty equipment, furniture, walls, ceilings and floors in all areas of responsibility to the GM/Head Chef/ Maintenance.
