We are looking for an experienced and friendly barista to join us for a 3-day event at our booth during the LGA Annual Conference 2024 at Harrogate Convention Centre. You will operate a small coffee machine, serve a selection of specialty coffees, and create an inviting atmosphere for attendees visiting our booth. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and engaging environment while showcasing your coffee-making skills to conference visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and serve specialty coffees from a small menu (e.g., espresso, cappuccino, latte, flat white).
• Operate and maintain a small-grade coffee machine, ensuring all equipment is clean and functioning properly.
• Provide excellent customer service, engaging with conference attendees in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist in keeping the coffee area clean and organised throughout the day.
• Manage coffee supplies and ensure they are replenished as needed.
• Work closely with the booth team to support attendee interactions and enhance the visitor experience.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a barista, with a strong ability to prepare specialty coffee beverages.
• Experience operating small commercial or home-grade espresso machines.
• Friendly, approachable demeanour with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Reliable and punctual, able to work all three days of the conference.
Duration: 3 days (LGA Annual Conference and Exhibition 2024)
Working Hours:
• 6-hour shifts for all three days of the conference. Specific hours will be discussed during the hiring process.
