Barista

We’re a small independent cafe based on London’s Southbank, known for our cheese toasties and fab coffee. We’re looking for someone hardworking, reliable and all round fabulous to become part of our team. Duties will include- *Preparing and cooking hot food to order (mainly toasties) *Preparing and making speciality coffee and drinks *Opening & Closing as required *Taking orders, recommending dishes and generally being sociable with the customers. *Maintain cleanliness and strict hygiene standards throughout shift. *Manage deliveries and keep manager informed of stock that needs ordering. *Carry out other duties and support the rest of the team as required. Skills required- *1+ years similar experience, preferably in an independent street food environment. Barista experience preferred. *Friendly & outgoing with a genuine commitment to high levels of customer service. *Ability to work under pressure *Excellent attention to detail *Ability to work as part of a small team & get stuck in. *Level 2 food & hygiene cert required, but training can be provided As a small Independent it’s imperative that we’re delivering the best food alongside the most amazing customer service.
