    NEW WORKSHOP OPENING JUNE 2026 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art workshop. You will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, and repair of a diverse fleet, ranging from small vans to 44-tonne HGVs, ensuring they meet all DVSA and VOSA road safety standards. Key Responsibilities • Routine Maintenance: Carry out scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance, and safety inspections (e.g., 6-week or 8-week checks)., • Diagnosis & Repair: Use advanced diagnostic tools (e.g., Jaltest, TEXA) to identify and fix mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic faults., • MOT Preparation: Prepare, present, and accompany vehicles for annual MOT inspections., • Compliance: Accurately complete job cards, maintenance records, and service reports to maintain legal "O" licence requirements., • Roadside Support: Respond to breakdowns and provide mobile emergency repair services on a rotational basis. Essential Qualifications & Skills • Education: NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent in Heavy Vehicle or Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair., • Licence: Full UK driving licence. An HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence is highly desirable but not always essential., • Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a similar commercial workshop environment., • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of diesel engines, air braking systems, and multiplex/CAN bus electrical systems., • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team.     We are seeking a reliable and self sufficient Part-Time Cook / Kitchen Operator to join our growing delivery only food business. Based in a ghost kitchen, this is a hands on role ideal for someone confident working independently and managing all aspects of kitchen operations during evening service. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking, packing, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. You’ll be working solo during shifts and closely supported by the owner during initial training. This opportunity is perfect for individuals with strong food safety knowledge who are looking for flexible weekend work and experience in an independent kitchen setting. Duties • Prepare and cook food orders (mainly tacos, specials, dips and sides) to established recipes, • Accurately assemble and pack delivery orders using third party delivery apps, • Maintain a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen at all times, • Complete food safety and temperature logs during each shift, • Conduct light restocking, stock checks, and basic prep for next-day service, • Follow and uphold allergen management and documentation procedures, • Perform thorough kitchen clean down at the end of each shift Qualifications • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate (required), • Allergen Awareness Training (required), • Prior experience in a professional kitchen, food truck, or food prep environment, • Strong understanding of solo kitchen operations and food safety compliance, • Reliable, well-organised, and confident working independently, • Must live locally or have a short, reliable commute to NW2 7JR, • Legally eligible to work in the UK Working Hours • Part-time, weekend shifts, • Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday: 5:00pm - 10:00pm, • Approx. 10 - 20 hours per week, • More hours may become available as the business grows Training • One paid training shift will be required prior to starting, • Training covers food prep, kitchen setup, health & safety logs, and order flow, • This shift will be paid at the standard hourly rate of £11.44/hour Pay & Contract • £12/hour (UK National Minimum Wage for age 21+), • Zero-hour contract – hours not guaranteed but regularly offered, • Contractor role – not an employee (you manage your own tax/holiday), • Paid monthly (end of each month) Start Date: Saturday, 7th March 2026 Application Process Please apply • A short message or CV outlining your food/kitchen experience, • Confirmation of your Food Safety Level 2 and Allergen Awareness certificates, • Your postcode or nearest station (for commute reference), • Your availability for training before 7th March
