As a Barista at Mome, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional coffee and food service while contributing to our warm, family-friendly atmosphere. You'll work alongside our play facilitators and reception team to ensure families have a seamless, enjoyable experience in our unique creative environment. Coffee & Beverage Service: Prepare and serve premium coffee, specialty drinks, and beverages to high standards Maintain consistent quality across all coffee preparations Operate and maintain coffee equipment (espresso machines, grinders, etc.) Create beautiful latte art and presentation Food Service: Prepare and serve organic, locally sourced snacks and meals Handle smoothie bowls, fresh salads, keto-friendly options, and vegan specialties Ensure food safety and hygiene standards at all times Manage food allergies and dietary requirements with care Customer Experience: Provide friendly, welcoming service to families with young children Understand and explain menu offerings, including healthy options Handle orders efficiently during busy periods (weekends especially) Support families with high chairs, spill cleanup, and child-friendly service Operations: Maintain cleanliness and organization of café area Manage inventory and stock levels Handle cash and card payments accurately Coordinate with play facilitators for seamless service delivery Hours: flexible working - over weekend too.
