As a restaurant specialising in traditional north-western Chinese cuisine, with a focus on handmade noodles and barbecue, the ideal candidate must excel in noodle-making and wok cooking, and have extensive experience in a similar role. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation. - Design and develop menus, with a particular emphasis on handmade noodles, stir-fried dishes, and barbecue, aligning with the north-western Chinese cuisine theme. - Train and manage kitchen staff, ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. - Maintain efficiency under pressure and handle any issues that arise in the kitchen. Requirements: - A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Head Chef or similar role, particularly in Chinese cuisine, preferably north-western Chinese. - Expertise in handmade noodle-making, stir-frying. - Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure. We are looking for an experienced and responsible pizza chef, specialized in making Neapolitan Pizza, for the Restaurant Pizzeria Meridionale in Fulham, London. The restaurant has 32 seats and specializes in serving cuisine from southern Italy. The position is full-time, with shifts that are a mix of lunch, dinner, and doubles, totaling 7 shifts per week.
