Cleaner Location: Rotherham Salary: £12.71 per hour Hours: 6am till 9am, 15 hours a week Contract: Contract role until end of September About the Role Our client, a leading educational institution, is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Cleaner to join their dedicated team. This role is vital to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all students, staff, and visitors. You’ll be part of a friendly, proactive cleaning team, working under the guidance of the Estates department to deliver top-notch cleanliness and hygiene standards across the campus. You must have an Enhanced DBS or be willing to do one. Responsibilities Include: General Cleaning: Perform tasks such as vacuuming, surface cleaning, mopping, and internal glass cleaning Waste Management: Handle waste disposal in line with recycling procedures Deep Cleaning: Undertake sanitising and deep cleaning duties as needed Equipment and Safety: Use cleaning tools and products safely and report any equipment faults to the Estates team Health & Safety: Follow organisational health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for everyone Customer Service: Maintain a high standard of customer service, timekeeping, and attendance Key Objectives: Provide a visible, friendly, and professional cleaning service that positively reflects the campus environment Collaborate with the Estates team to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard Ideal Candidate Profile: You will be flexible, adaptable, and able to respond to shifting priorities Must have previous experience in a cleaning role You’ll take pride in delivering a professional and thorough cleaning service, creating a positive impression for all who visit or work on the site Autonomy in day-to-day duties will be balanced with support from the wider team Why Join Us?
