Acuity AI is a venture-backed robotics data infrastructure company building the pipes that power the next generation of embodied AI. We collect multi-modal egocentric video data that robotics companies use to train their models. Think of us as the data layer for robots learning to navigate the real world. The Role We need someone to own B2B user onboarding and growth. You'll be the person who gets factories, warehouses, and manufacturing actually using our platform. This isn't about closing million-dollar enterprise deals (yet). It's about high-velocity outreach, rapid onboarding, and turning interested prospects into active users who see value fast. You'll be our first full time sales hire, which means you get to build this from scratch. No playbook, no established processes, just you, the CEO, and a massive market opportunity. What You'll Do User Acquisition & Onboarding • Own the full funnel from cold outreach to active project management, • Run high-volume outreach campaigns to manufacturing and service industry, • Conduct high volume rapid discovery calls and product demos, • Get users onboarded quickly and collecting data within days, not weeks, • Build and manage your own pipeline (no SDR to hand you leads), • Hit aggressive monthly user acquisition targets, • Test different channels, messaging, and approaches to find what works, • Track metrics obsessively and iterate based on what converts, • Talk to customers constantly and feed insights back to the team, • Understand why prospects choose us (or don't), • Help us figure out our positioning and who we should target, • Improve our CRM and sales systems, • Occasionally create pitch decks, one-pagers, and sales collateral; but this should be avoided where possible, • Document what works so we can hire and scale the team, • Eventually hire and train the next sales people Must Have • 2-4 years doing something sales-y (B2B SaaS, PLG, growth, BD, whatever), • Track record of hitting aggressive growth targets, • Comfortable with ambiguity and figuring things out as you go, • Can talk to technical people without sounding like a typical sales person, • High energy, self-starter, don't need hand-holding, • Early startup experience (pre-Series A chaos), • Basic understanding of ML/AI workflows or training data, • Technical background or can talk the talk with ML engineers, • You get energized by 0 to 1 challenges and building from scratch, • You're comfortable being told "figure it out" and actually enjoying that, • You'd rather move fast and iterate than wait for perfect, • You can switch between scrappy outbound and polished enterprise conversations, • You want equity in something early and are willing to bet on it, • You need structure, clear processes, and established playbooks, • You want a big sales team, sales ops support, and marketing qualified leads, • You're expecting enterprise deal cycles and six-figure contracts immediately, • You need a lot of management and direction, • You're just looking for any sales job and don't care about the space, • Base: £40,000-£50,000 (depending on experience), • Potential for equity compensation for real ownership in something early, • Work directly with the founder, massive influence on strategy, • Build the sales function from scratch (your process, your team eventually), • Hybrid, work with the CEO in-person, remote otherwise, • Opportunity to travel to potential leads, and company offsites, • Move fast, break things, figure it out as we go
