Event Assistant

Busy bar group requires a part time Events Assistant! We host lots of private parties, wine and art events, cigar events and sake tastings. Key responsibilities • Play an integral role in the successful delivery of events across the site • To work with the Senior Managers and Operations team to plan, organise and deliver a successful operation of our events • Ensure all events run as per the schedules laid out • Act as an allergy champion • Build positive working relationships & communication methods with key departments • To brief the Hospitality team on all aspects of the business and to oversee the running of all assigned events • To meet clients and ensure their customer journey is flawless with meeting them on arrival making sure that the event is as they require. Also ensuring that any changes/amendments on the day are communicated on to the relevant people where necessary. • To lead the supervisors, waiters and colleagues • To develop coherent, accurate and timely event reports as required

About the Event: Our Open Studio Day is part of LFA's Studio Lates, offering attendees an exclusive opportunity to engage with groundbreaking XR and AI projects. The event includes interactive demos, discussions with our friendly AI, immersive games, and dynamic conversations about the transformative power of technology. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Event Runner/Event Assistant to support our team on the day of the event. The ideal candidate will have a background in event support, be highly organised, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the setup and breakdown of the event space Welcome and register guests Provide information and assistance to attendees Support the coordination of drinks and interactive demos/activities when required Ensure smooth operation of the event schedule Help maintain a positive and engaging atmosphere Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in an event support role Strong organisational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work well in a team and handle last-minute changes Passion for technology, design, and innovation is a plus Requirements: Availability on the day of the event (June 13th) Flexibility to work during event setup and breakdown times Reliable and punctual
