We are hiring passionate, enthusiastic and friendly team members to join our specialty coffee and matcha takeaway concept. We are seeking an experienced Head Barista to lead the team, maintain consistently high standards and help deliver an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include preparing specialty coffee and matcha drinks, supporting and motivating the team, managing daily opening and closing procedures, maintaining hygiene and food safety standards, monitoring stock, assisting with ordering, training new team members and providing excellent customer service. The ideal Head Barista will have previous Head Barista or Senior Barista experience, strong knowledge of specialty coffee and espresso preparation, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy takeaway environment. Matcha preparation experience is an advantage. We are also looking for full-time and part-time Baristas to prepare coffee and matcha drinks, take orders and payments, provide friendly customer service, maintain a clean and organised bar, follow recipes and preparation standards, and assist with opening, closing and stock duties. Previous barista experience is preferred, although training can be provided for suitable candidates. We are looking for people with a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, good communication skills, reliability, punctuality and a passion for coffee, matcha and hospitality.
