Experienced Barista in Italian Deli - Il Sovrano - London

Your average day starts at 6am - an easy commute to West Dulwich is therefore imperative. You start the day baking focaccia, prepping sandwiches for both sites. Prep for lunch service (we make every thing fresh every day, small batches) and run service with a KP. You're out the door at 4pm! Occasional evenings for special events. You must have experience with dough, Italian food and a meat slicer. You must enjoy making simple recipes and following instructions. Our team is friendly and easy going but our standards are high. You will be trained to work alone in the kitchen the quieter breakfast service and in time will take on some busy lunch shifts as well. This is a simple operation but it requires great organisational skills, an ability to see the big picture and a real love for cooking.

15-25 hours a week in West Dulwich Italian deli. Very friendly, local deli w/ a gorgeous garden. Applicants must be available weekends and a couple of lunches a week. Weekends are 8/9 to 16:30 and weekdays at 11:30 - 15. You must have experience as a waiter and have basic barista knowledge. Confident with a tray and fast moving. Able to hold 6 tasks in your mind at once - Saturdays are a wild ride!
