Responsibilities • Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality food production, • Develop and plan menus in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative dishes and seasonal ingredients, • Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet established standards of excellence, • Manage food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards, • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control waste to optimise kitchen efficiency, • Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive team environment and professional growth, • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during busy periods, • Proven experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting, • Good knowledge of food production, preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation skills, • Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management, • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail, • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously, • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is highly desirable Benefits: • Employee discount, • Free parking Work Location: In person
