The Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for supporting the General Manager in the day-to-day operation of Yellowstone Pizza, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth service delivery, high cleanliness standards, and effective team performance. Key Responsibilities Customer Service • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times., • Resolve customer complaints professionally and efficiently., • Ensure guests have a positive dining experience., • Support the team during busy service periods. Team Leadership • Supervise Front of House staff during shifts., • Support with training and onboarding of new team members., • Ensure staff follow company policies, procedures, and service standards., • Monitor staff performance and provide feedback where required. Operations • Assist with opening and closing procedures., • Ensure daily checklists are completed., • Monitor cleanliness standards throughout the restaurant., • Allocate staff breaks and manage shift flow., • Support stock control and report low-stock items. Cash Handling & Till Management • Operate and supervise the Toast POS system., • Assist with cash handling procedures., • Ensure accurate processing of payments., • Report any till discrepancies to management. Health & Safety • Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations., • Maintain a clean and safe working environment., • Report maintenance and safety issues immediately. Communication • Liaise with kitchen and Front of House teams to ensure smooth service., • Escalate operational issues to the General Manager when required., • Participate in team meetings and training sessions. Requirements • Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, bar, or café operations is a must., • Strong communication and customer service skills., • Ability to lead and motivate a team., • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment., • Reliable, professional, and organised., • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
