Lecturer - Hairdressing and Barbering • Location: West London, • Salary: £33,429 to £46,618 per annum including London Weighting, • Job Type: Full-time Day-to-day of the role: • Deliver comprehensive lectures and practical sessions across various courses including Level 1 Hair and Beauty, VRQ Level 2 and Level 3 in Hairdressing, and more., • Engage and inspire students through hands-on demonstrations and innovative teaching practices., • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support students in achieving their learning goals., • Develop and update course materials to ensure they meet industry standards and enhance the learning experience., • Collaborate with other faculty members to enhance the curriculum and participate in departmental activities., • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Hairdressing, along with an assessor qualification., • At least 3 years of professional experience in the hairdressing industry., • Proven teaching experience in hairdressing., • Willingness to work towards a Level 5 teacher training qualification if not already obtained (support provided by the College)., • Competitive salary package including London Weighting., • Opportunities for professional development and training., • Supportive and collaborative work environment.
