Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to childcare and early years education. Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, including staffing, budgeting, and resource management. Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children and families. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and implement strategies to support their growth. Organise training sessions for staff to enhance their professional development in childcare practices. Requirements Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery or early childhood education setting. Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and best practices in childcare. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage staff effectively while fostering a positive team culture. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is essential. Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations regarding childcare is advantageous. A qualification in Level 3 Childcare, First aid and Safeguarding. Must be DBS checked.
