The prospective applicant needs to demonstrate the following:
· Mainly responsible in making business run smooth on day to day basis.
· To plans catering services and directs staff.
· To decides on range and quality of meals and beverages to be provided.
· To liaise with customers’ requirements.
· To purchases or directs the purchasing of supplies and arranges for preparation of accounts;
· To verifies that quality of food, beverages and waiting service is as required, that kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and appropriate hygiene standards are maintained in compliance with statutory requirements;
· To plans and arranges food preparation in collaboration with other staff and organises the provision of waiting or counter staff;
· To checks that supplies are properly used and accounted for to prevent wastage and loss and to keep within budget limit;
· To determines staffing, financial, material and other short- and long-term requirements;
· To Organising shifts and scheduling
· To Greet and Serve Customers
· To Handling customer enquiries and complaints
· To Ensures that quality of food, beverages and waiting service is as required, that kitchen and dining areas are kept clean and appropriate hygiene standards are maintained in compliance with statutory requirements
· To Overseeing stock levels and ensure supplies are used and no wastages
Skills, experience, and qualification required for the role.
· Proven experience as an Operation Manager or similar role.
· Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Excellent customer service and operational skills
· Speak and write English (to communicate with colleagues)
· Experience in managing waiter/waitress, and checking the quality of
· food
· Knowledge of the catering front and back
· Needs to use initiative and have organisational skills
· Has an interest in this industry
· Trustworthy and reliable
· Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Experience in the similar role for 3 years is desirable.
