Fruit Packer
The role is to prepare and pack fresh fruit orders to the highest standards of quality, accuracy and speed. You will work in a busy production area and follow a clear process so every customer receives the correct products in perfect condition.
Key Responsibilities
Pick and pack fruit orders according to the daily production plan
Check all fruit for quality and remove any damaged or unfit items
Follow the fruit matrix and production standards at all times
Weigh, count and label products correctly
Re-stock the line with fruit, boxes and packaging materials when needed
Keep your work area clean and organised throughout the shift
Follow all hygiene and food safety rules
Report any shortages, quality issues or damaged stock to the Line Leader
Work together with other packers to finish the shift targets on time
Support any other tasks required by the Line Leader or Production Manager
Skills and Requirements
Good attention to detail
Fast and accurate working style
Ability to stand for long periods and lift boxes when needed
Basic understanding of food hygiene
Good communication and teamwork
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
