PCV Driver

We are looking for part-time catering driver, to join our Food Catering team. Based out of our London Nine Elms/Stockwell kitchen, you will spend most of your time on the road, driving our van and delivering to our Corporate and private customers in London and further afield, as well as collecting catering equipment hired out. Working hours can range from 6am to 9pm Mon – Sun, depending on our booked orders. Hours can range from 2 - 4hrs per day, depending on orders. We have acquired several catering contracts which will cover central London and the surrounding areas. Unfortunately, we are not looking for moped driver and must have van driving experience. You will have: Able to drive a Manuel van A full, clean UK Driving License (Must have held a license for more than 5yrs. No endorsements or convictions) A good knowledge of London roads, surrounding areas, and the Highway Code. Able to get to destinations quickly, but safely. Experience in regular dual carriageway and motorway driving Computer literacy including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Proof of your right to work in the UK You must have: An excellent verbal communicator, fluent in English Professional and polite with a strong focus on customer service Experienced in delivering delicate food catering i.e. canapes and food platters etc. Honest, trustworthy, reliable, conscientious and punctual Precise and accurate with high levels of attention to detail in all your activities Flexible and mindful of the business/team objectives and goals whilst completing your duties Adaptable - able to work independently out, on the road and think on your feet when needed! This role will be physically demanding with heavy lifting required of catering thermal bags and catering equipment. We pride ourselves on the excellent produce we sell and the service that goes with it. So, attention to detail and good communication between you, the office and our clients is crucial. - This is a multi drop role. The job is delivering through out the night bakery food. The van is provided so this is a night shift role. - The starting time varies from 11pm-1am. This is for 8hrs each night. The job can be done in 6-7hrs and you are still paid for 8hrs. - You must be over 25 for insurance purposes. - You must have a valid UK driving licence with proof of address. - You must atleast have 1 year experience in doing multi drop deliveries. - Atleast 3-5 years of driving experience - Self employed role
