We are seeking an expert Pizza Chef with proven experience in wood-fired ovens and authentic Neapolitan dough management. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional techniques, attention to detail, and the creativity to elevate our pizza offering while maintaining consistency and quality.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage Neapolitan-style dough, including mixing, fermenting, proofing, and shaping.
Operate and maintain a traditional wood-fired oven, ensuring correct temperature control and baking times.
Prepare high-quality pizzas with speed, precision, and consistency.
Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with food safety standards.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop seasonal and innovative pizza recipes.
Monitor stock levels and support ordering of pizza-related ingredients.
Train and mentor junior staff in pizza preparation techniques.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a pizza chef, specifically in Neapolitan-style pizza.
Skilled in handling and cooking with a wood-fired oven.
Strong knowledge of dough fermentation and hydration processes.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene.
Creativity and passion for Italian cuisine.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
